• Always search for the .com TLD first, then get the .net, .biz and .etc .
• Search for multiple domain names that relate to your products and services and have them point to one website.
• Search for the plurals as well as the singular keywords, you will want both.
• Choose a domain name that is short, easy to spell, easy to pronounce and easy to remember.
• Choose a name that is readily understood over the telephone or on the radio and television.
• Do not use hyphens, numbers, initials or abbreviations. They add too much confusion to the domain name.
